Best man
TYLER VIERRA
They’ve shared macarons under the Eiffel Tower, a honeymoon suite in Cabo, wine memberships in Napa, and an uncountable number of Negroni and caipirinha together. Tyler is like a brother to Christophe, so much so he asked him to be the Best Man at his own wedding this year in Brazil. Always up for a good time, whether that be a trip or a night out on the town, this wedding would be incomplete without Tyler’s presence.
Groomsman
PAUL MURRE
Who would have thought that a late night Uber ride and an unexpected invitation to Italy would result in so profound a friendship? Christophe and Paul became fast friends a few years ago and since have done everything from wine tasting in Italy, to launching a successful ceramics brand in San Francisco, to sharing some near-death experiences involving an ATV in Tulum (they were fine). A fantastic conversationalist and all-around great guy, he’s company that Christophe is thankful to have alongside him at his wedding.
Groomsman
JAMISON GUY
Most people survived their roommates during COVID. Christophe and Jamison thrived. DJ buddies, fellow lovers of film, travel, food, and a good drink (a true bon vivant) – Jamison is another one of those people that’s become family at this point. Roommates for over four years, the two have been through a lot together, and have remained friends through it all. If someone on this list were to find there way to the back of the DJ booth during the wedding, it would be him.
Groomsman
JAMA JOACHIM
You make a lot of friends in Club Med, but the one’s you stay in contact with after your last crazy sign are the one’s that count. Jama is one of the most genuinely interesting and humble people one could hope to meet, with incredible stories to match. While he and Christophe met in Punta Cana, they’ve traveled to the wineries of Napa, the speakeasies of Montreal, and even the hilltop towns of Puglia, but they’ve never gone together to the South of France, where both of their families live. This wedding will be an opportunity to remedy that, and to settle a competition that has its roots all the way back in the Dominican Republic: who is better at pétanque?
Groomsman
MARC TRUCCO
Brother of the Bride – if Agnès is the diplomatic one, Marc is the one that’s going to tell you the hard truth. His honesty has been appreciated by Christophe since the two met. While they haven’t spent much time together, given how far they live from one another, both are looking forward to a future trip to California and a soon-to-be-held bachelor party.
RING BEARER
SEBASTIAN POPE
Younger brother of the Groom, the bond between Christophe and Sebastian is something special. With a fifteen year gap between them, Christophe has seen Sebastian grow from diapers (some of which he had to change) to the 200+ lbs beefcake he is today. Passionate, active, curious, kind – these are just a few words Christophe would use to describe him. As someone held in such high esteem, Christophe could think of no one better to carry the ring on this important day.
